Important Dates
Examination dates
The formal examination opportunities for this course are as follows:
- 2027-01-15 (regular examination at the end of the course)
- 2027-03-19 (first re-examination date)
- 2027-06-11 (second re-examination date)
These dates are also the formal submission deadlines (including resubmissions) for all lab assignments & project reports, unless explicitly communicated otherwise. Note that there are no grade penalties for submitting or re-submitting to a later examination date.
After the last examination date, you can be examined in connection with the next course session. Note however that the next session may feature different content, different assignments and different examination requirements. If you want to resubmit work from a previous session of this course, contact the examiner at least 10 working days before the relevant deadline!
Lab due dates
Each lab assignment has two due dates:
The first due date is in the week after the assignment was released (submission deadline: Tuesdays, 23:59). If you submit for this due date, you will get formative feedback on your assignment and the chance to revise it before its final assessment after the examination deadline.
The second due date is the formal examination date at the end of the course session (see above).
We do not grade lab assignments continually throughout the course. We only grade lab submissions once after the first due date, and then once after each examination date. This is both to better manage our workload, but also to ensure that every student gets the same number of “attempts” and feedback opportunities.
If you have concrete questions about a specific part of a lab, you can always talk to your teaching assistant, either during the scheduled lab sessions (preferred!) or via e-mail.
When do I get my grade?
You can expect to receive your grade in Ladok within 15 working days after the respective examination date for which you submitted. This applies to both the labs and the project report.
Note that we do not start grading submissions until the examination date (and therefore the submission deadline) has passed, no matter how early you submitted your work.
